BRIDGING COURSE
PURPOSE AND DESCRIPTION
In line with the Church of God International Bible College policies, the Bridging Course was designed to help students to qualify for admission to the Certificate in Theology for Ministry (CTM) course at COGIBC.
The Bridging Course has only one subject with 4 modules:

Transformation Acts 20/20
Once the student has successfully completed these modules, he/she will automatically qualify to enroll for the Certificate in Theology for Ministry at the Church of God International Bible College.
DURATION OF STUDY: For the Bridging Course the student is allowed 18 months to complete 6 months of academic study.

CERTIFICATE OF THEOLOGY FOR MINISTRY (CTM)
The Church of God International Bible College has designed and developed a three-year Certificate in Theology for Ministry to theologically equip people for ministry.
DURATION OF STUDY: The prescription condition for one academic year is three years. For the Certificate in Theology for Ministry the student is allowed 9 years to complete 1 year of academic study.

Dispensational Truth | CTM/103 | Dispensational studies view the world as an economy of God. From the viewpoint of man it is a responsibility; and in relation to progressive revelation, it is a stage in that revelation. |
Hermeneutics | CTM/104 | The study of the science of the rules of biblical interpretation. |
Christian Doctrine / Dogmatics | CTM/105 | Christian Theology is the Christian belief and practice. Such study concentrates primarily upon the texts of the Old Testament and New Testament, as well as on Christian tradition. |
New Testament Survey | CTM/106 | New Testament Survey begins with a survey of the social, political, economic, and religious background and historical settings of the New Testament books. |

Old Testament Survey | CTM/109 | Old Testament survey provides a clear guide for students to explore the literary, historical, and theological issues behind the Old Testament. |
Theology Proper | CTM/110 | Theology Proper is the sub-discipline of Systematic Theology which deals specifically with the being, attributes and works of God. |
Bibliology (Revised) | CTM/111 | The term Bibliology refers to the study of the nature of the Bible as revelation. It includes topics such as revelation, inspiration, inerrancy, canonicity, illumination, and interpretation. |
New Testament Ministries | CTM/112 | The study of different ministries in the church as to the gifts bestowed by the Lord on the members of the body of Christ. |

Ecclesiology | CTM/203 | Ecclesiology is the study of the Christian Church, the origins of Christianity, its relationship to Jesus Christ as the head of the church, its role in salvation, its polity, its discipline, its destiny, and its leadership. |
Homiletics I | CTM/204 | Homiletics is a study of the preparing and the delivering of sermons in a systematic way. |
Church History |
CTM/205 | Church History, or ecclesiastical history, as an academic discipline studies the history of Christianity and the way the Christian Church has developed since its inception. |
Soteriology | CTM/206 | The doctrine of Salvation. |

Book of Revelation (Eschatology) | CTM/304 | The study of doctrines concerning end times and final matters such as death, judgment, and the afterlife, as well as the new heaven and the new earth. |
Liturgy | CTM/305 | The study of the liturgical form that Christian worship is conducted. |
